The #Mendiolables had the privilege of meeting multi-awarded chef Chef Jessie Sincioco and feature her restaurant Chef Jessie at The Rockwell Club last year.
As Chef Jessie showcased her creativity and passion for creating a sumptuous Christmas table at the event, she was proudly telling the crowd that it was The Maya Kitcken via Great Maya Cookfest that paved the way to her culinary world. Along with her commitment to her craft, and her innovative spirit, Chef Jessie’s career reached new heights as she earned multiple prestigious awards and became a premier restaurateur. She is now the President and CEO of her very own company, JCS Gastronomies Inc., and runs hands-on, the finest restaurants in the metro, Top of the Citi by Chef Jessie and Chef Jessie Rockwell Club.
With her busy schedule, Chef Jessie returned to the Maya Kitchen and shared her very own Christmas menu with tips and ideas about preparing a delightful Christmas table. She also used local ingredients from the appetizers to the dessert to showcase Filipino at its best.
The menu includes Smoked Milkfish & Bihod Pie with Croutons and Mesclun of Local Greens with Marigold & Crispy Coconut Flakes in Coco-Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing as appetizers. For the main course, she prepares a Cochinillo Stuffed with Atchara Rice, a special Kinulob na Chicken recipe, and Tiger Prawns with Laing. For dessert, Chef Jessie prepares a Dark Chocolate Fudge Orange Cupcake out of local Cacao de Bola.
